Struck by falling object

The employee was hanging a ventilation curtain when a piece of rock fell from the rib and struck him on his right foot resulting in a fracture.

Struck by flying object

The employee was working on a continuous mining machine when a piece of debris entered his right eye and became imbedded.

Fall to the walkway or working surface

The injured was walking to the face when he slipped and fell. This resulted in a laceration to his left arm which required sutures.
