Employee was in process of removing a damaged roller on the beltline when a section of the rib rolled out striking him on his left side knocking him to the ground.
Employee was at the scoop charger on 002 section. After changing the scoop batteries, the employee started to get onto the scoop and a piece of the coal rib fell out, hitting the employee on the shoulder and left lower part of back. Strained muscle in shoulder and back.
EE was on 003 section roof bolting in the #4 entry. EE moved drill head next to the rib to put up a roof bolt. When drilling, a piece of the coal rib fell off, injuring the EE's right elbow and shoulder. Deep cut on elbow.
Putting up roof bolt next to rib, when rib rolled out. Hit him on the back and left leg from the knee down.
Employee was roof bolting in the no. 5 Rt on mmu no. 3 section when a piece of the coal rib fell out pushing him into the roof bolter, knocking the breath out of him. Employee was taken to the hospital. No broken bones; sore only.
While roof bolting, coal rib rolled out hitting employee in back of legs pushing him up against the tray on the roof bolt machine. Employee hit the tray with his right rib area.
Employee was rock dusting rib when a rock rolled off the rib and struck his left foot. On work restrictions for 4 days.
Employee was checking belt splices at #7 tail piece 7 breaks outby section when rib rolled out and a rock or piece of coal struck him on the left foot.
Employee was operating shuttle car when rib rolled out pinning right arm aganst shuttle car. Employee received 16 stitches to righ forearm.
Employee was operating a miner in #3 heading when a rib rolled out. The rib struck him in the back and on his right knee.
While hanging curtain, EE put a ladder up against the rib. A piece of coal fell from the rib, striking EE on the left hand, index finger requiring 5 stitches.
The injured was helping move the cont mining machine when a coal rib rolled off the corner of the block striking him on his right leg and ankle. This resulted in abrasions and bruises to his r ight leg and ankle.
RIB ROLLED OUT AND STRUCK EMPLOYEE ON RIGHT ANKLE.
EMPLOYEE WAS HANGING A CURTAIN WHEN THE RIB ROLLED OUT AND FELL ON HIS LEFT LEG. APPROX SIZE OF ROCK 3'LONG, 18"THICK.
EE WAS PREPARING TO LOAD A SHUTTLE CAR WHEN A PIECE OF RIB ROLLED OUT CAUSING THE ROCK ABOVE THERIB TO FALL. THE ROCK STRUCK EE ON THE BACK & SHOULDER AREA THEN FELL ON HIS RIGHT ANKLE THE SIZ E OF THE ROCK WAS APPROX 3-4'L, 18" WIDE & 4-6" THICK
EE WAS STANDING BESIDE THE RIB WHEN IT ROLLED OUT AND A PIECE APPROX. 1' IN DIAMETER LANDED ON HIS RIGHT FOOT.
