While cutting 8 right a piece of rock dislodged between the roof bolts and struck the employees right side causing them to land on the left shoulder. X-rays showed a tuberosity nondisplaced fracture of the left shoulder. Employee was placed on restrictions.
Employee was walking to their coal hauler when a rock fell between the bolts and struck the back of the neck. Employee was placed on restrictions for a cervical spine strain/sprain.

Employee was roof bolting in entry 4 on unit #1 when a rock fell from the top and struck the leg. Employee received a spiral distal tibia fracture to the right leg.
Injured was walking from entry 5 to entry 6 at xc 26 when a rock fell from the corner and hit the hard hat and shoulder. Injured received 6 staples to the shoulder area.
Employee had walked outby to get hog panels when a rock fell and struck employee on the foot. The employee had injured this same foot in the past. X-ray showed a fracture to the 3rd metatarsal on the left foot. Employee was placed in a moon boot.
Injured had finished EE's first cut out of the 1R. EE was backing the continuous miner out when a rock fell and struck EE from behind. The rock knocked EE forward and came to rest on the lower part of the legs. The injured received a subtle L1 fracture, a 2nd metatarsal fracture and both great toes were dislocated.
Injured was bolting in 3 right when a rock fell from the corner of the nitch and struck the back of the neck/head. ER doctor said possible concussion and placed on light duty until follow up with family doctor.

Rock and coal fell from the mine roof striking the back of his hands. the employee sustained a deep contusion of the right hand between his thumb and index finger.
The EE was locking-out power on the MMU-001 feeder. He was bent over looking down. A piece of rock fell from the roof, striking the back of the EE's neck. The EE sustained a concussion.
The employee was driving a diesel scoop out the haul road. When he reached the area between 19+20 and 20+00 of M2, a rock fell from the roof along the rib onto the canopy of the scoop. The rock slid off the canopy entering the operator's compartment. The rock struck the employee in the arm causing a laceration. The employee received 6 stitches.
The employee was attempting to repair a damaged miner cable between entries #5 and #6 two cross-cuts outby the working face on MMU-001. The employee was being assisted by another electrician. A rock fell from the roof between the existing roof bolts. The rock struck the employee's hand causing a contusion and laceration.
