Employee was bolting on #1 unit in #2 left swinging over to put up his 2nd pin in his 2nd row when a rock slid off of the canopy and hit him in his lip and arm causing him to receive 4 stitches in his upper lip.
Employee was helping change bits on the miner when a small piece of rock 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" in size fell out and struck him on his left forearm causing him to have 3 stitches.
