Showing all 4EE was checking room for loose rock. He started to pull a loose rock when the one above it fell hitting EE on the left hand and arm.
EE had hand scaled area prior to loading shot. Rock fell from top of face and hit EE on the left side of head/hard hat then onto left shoulder. Approx size of rock was 6-8 inches in length and 3 inches thick.
EE WAS PREPARING FOR A BLAST WHEN A ROCK FELL FROM THE MINE AND STRUCK HIS SHOULDER AND NECK CAUSING CONTUSIONS. *REPORT BEING FILED LATE DUE TO FURTHER COMPLICATONS ON 10-18-05 EE HAVING FURTHER MEDICAL TREATMENT. AT THAT TIME THE DR PUT HIM ON RESTRICTIONS.
