Independence Excavating · Struck by falling object

The crew was working on pulling power cables getting the plant set up. When two employees were pulling cable through a hopper extension. One employee was pulling cable with their hand resting on the back of the conveyor. The hopper extension slipped out of workers causing it to fall onto the resting employees fingers lacerating their middle, ring, and pinky finger.

While attempting to change out out a tire on a skid loader. the operator got left finger in between the rim of the tire and hub of the machine while mounting the tire. The operator immediately felt pain in the left finger when EE removed the glove and saw a laceration on left finger.
