Employee was involved in setup of a pump at a sump location within the pit. Pump pad failed and pump was tipping into the sump. Employee tried to stop the pump from going in the sump. Employee failed to do so, pump carried backwards and sideways and struck the employee mid torso and causing injury to the their back
