Employee was changing a piece of belt structure when the frame slid, and EE's finger was caught between bed rail and frame. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.
Injured was helping 2 other miners re-rail a 555 scoop at the 230 foot mark of the slope track. Two airbags were placed to lift the scoop, blocking was being installed to support the scoop to deflate the bags when a crib block shot out from underneath an airbag and struck the injured employees hard hat, resulting in a small contusion to EEs forehead and a sprain/strain to EEs neck.
Employee was installing roof bolts on the right side of the continuous miner. EE had completed drilling a hole and was pushing a roof bolt up in the hole when EE felt a "pop" in EE's right shoulder. No rules or regulations were violated and EE was wearing required PPE. Body failure performing normal job duty.
Employee was putting supplies on miner when EE picked up a rib strap when it cut through EE's glove. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.
Employee was bolting when the pusher steel slipped out of EE's hands and hit EE on the head. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.

Employee was exiting a mantrip when EE's right foot was stuck under the seat. When attempting to pull it free EE injured EE's right knee.

Employee was helping work on scoop battery when battery lid came down and hit EE's elbow/bicep. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.
Employee was loading waterline onto scoop for belt move. When one of the water lines pipes slid off the scoop and struck EE's foot. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.
Injured was cutting down roof screen to unload "bagged" material at 3 block on 3 belt with a grinder and some loose rock that was in the screen fell out causing a laceration to the posterior side of EE's left forearm that required sutures to close. No problems with equipment or compliance issues, training or PPE.
Employee was cleaning on LW face when another employee was attempting to pass EE, that employee slipped and fell and the miner that was cleaning tried to catch EE and injured EE's back. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.
Employee was struck by a rock that had fallen from in between the shields, striking EE's left hand, and resulting in a contusion to EE's left pinky and ring finger. Compliance with rules/regs, PPE, mining equip/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor.

Employee was dragging hoses off the face when they became stuck. When the pull rope broke, the hoses whipped the employee in EE's right arm, resulting in a contusion. Compliance with rules/regs, PPE, mining equip/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor.
Employee was spotting rollers and shoveling belt when EE felt pain in EE's hand. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.
Employee was carrying a spool on EE's shoulder through the Golden Ridge Bottom Cut Through, when EE's left thumb was caught between the spool and the roof. Compliance with rules/regs, PPE, mining equip/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor.
Injured employee was helping hang the continuous miner cable. Lifted it to EE's shoulder and then up into a hanger. Felt pain in EE's shoulder and later after work, EE noticed a small knot and swelling in EE's shoulder. Reported the incident on 3-9-26 and sought treatment that day and began missing work. No rules or regulations were violated and EE Was wearing required PPE.
Employee was operating a roof bolter installing bolts on the 8W CM Section. EE stuck EE's left hand down on the bolter head to check suction and at that time, a drill steel fell out of the hole EE was drilling and smashed EE's left little finger against the drill head. Employee suffered 2 small fractures to the end of EE's little finger. Was wearing metacarpal gloves.
Injured loading top belt structure into a belt tub in the Sugar Run Supply yard with the rest of belt crew. When EE placed the structure down the other employee pushed it over before injured's gloved finger was out of way and pinched it between structure and tub resulting in a chipped bone. No problems with equipment or compliance issues, training or PPE.
Employee was changing rollers during outage when they took roller out of frame, the roller dropped and struck their hand. Palm of hand was between roller and frame. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.
Employee assisted with loading roll of belt on scoop when roll of belt shifted and came back injuring EE's foot. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.

Drill steel fell out of the top striking and cutting the employee's right middle finger.
IE was carrying v-deck into and down the beltline. They stepped on uneven bottom and rolled an ankle. Injury was not the result of a training or compliance issue.
Employee was moving miner cable to rib when they felt pain in their back. PPE was not a factor, mining system was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor. Body positioning was a factor.
Injured was assisting pulling longwall hoses at the Longwall belt drive using a sheave wheel connected to a roof hanger. A nylon rope was run through the sheave and connected to the hoses. As the rope was being pulled, the hanger broke and the sheave struck employee's right knee. Employee was behind guarding but moved away from it during the process.
Employee was on crew changing rollers, and EE's hand was pinned between a roller and a locked out belt while replacing a roller in a cradle. Accident was not the result of a training or compliance issue.
Injured picked up approximately 15-pound rock off of catwalk to the Sugar Run Metso Pump and felt pain in lower right abdomen. Initially treated for appendicitis, but no evidence of this was found at follow up appointment, so employee was diagnosed with an unspecified abdominal muscle strain. No problems with equipment or compliance issues, training or PPE.
Employee was loading roof straps from car to scoop when they picked up stack of straps they felt pain in lower back. PPE was not an issue, mining systems was not an issue, compliance with rules and regulations was not an issue. Body positioning was an issue.
Employee and 2 fellow workers were holding onto a winch they took off of a push pole when it slipped, they lost grip of the winch, and it came down onto their right foot.
Employee was assisting with removing shuttle car tire when EE had EE's hand behind the tire, the tire shifted pinching EE's finger. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.
Injured employee was picking up a slope chain and placing it on the slope car when they felt a pain in their back. It did not involve any equipment or compliance issues. It also did not involve job skills, proficiency, training, PPE or protective devices.
Employee was helping work on belt pulley when EE said EE was carrying chain fall and felt pain in EE's right chest muscle. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.
This injury was not identified as as a recordable until 01/09/26. The EE reported a back strain while lifting and moving a vulcanizing press from a belt line UG to a track on a flat car on a mine site. At a later time the EE received treatment at a medical facility and an over counter prescription resulting in a recordable incident due to the original injury.
Injured picked up a lump of coal off the mine floor near 150 shield (6W) to throw into pan, but EE was closer to the pan than EE thought and struck EE's hand on the edge of the pan, pinching right ring finger between pan and coal, resulting in a fracture and open wound. No problems with equipment or compliance issues, training or PPE.
Employee was working on locomotive when lid lock let off and pinched arm between motor and cover. PPE was not an issue, mining systems was not an issue, compliance with rules and regulations was not an issue.
Employee was carrying a jack onto the belt line when EE felt pain in EE's shoulder, PPE was not an issue, mining systems was not an issue, compliance with rules and regulations was not an issue. Employee worked 4 shifts then re-injured the shoulder (12/9) carrying belt structure and starting missing work on 12/10.
Employee was removing old belt structure when left index finger was caught between the top of the new frame and an old bottom roller.
Employee was removing structure to build drive, when a piece of bed rail fell and struck EE's foot. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.
Injured was uncoupling a supply car incorrectly at the slope chute track and got EE's finger caught between the release lever and the coupler shank causing a crushing injury to EE's left middle finger that resulted in an open wound which required sutures to close.
Employee was loading beams onto crib scoop when beam rolled off and fell on a finger. PPE was not a factor, mining systems was not a factor, compliance with rules and regulations was not a factor.
Injured employee was lifting a scoop battery lid to prop it up for venting while charging. As they were lifting the lid with left hand, it slipped and fell smashing the tip of right thumb. Employee suffered a fracture to the tip of the thumb. No rules or regulations were violated. Employee has training and experience.
While removing fire suppression from the scoop charger during a power move in St Leo Mains (121 blk 2-3) the clamp slipped and when EE went to catch it EE ran EE's gloved hand down the edge of a roof strap resulting in a laceration that required sutures. No problems with equipment or compliance issues, training or PPE.
