The maintenance team was installing a new screen when a 6 inch square steel tube supporting the screen tipped and struck the miner's hand catching the hand between the tube and the catwalk. It resulted in a fractured left thumb and laceration on left hand.

The mine employee was removing metal shingles from the No. 1 kiln and cut left hand on one of the shingles. It required 6 stitches.
The employee was helping an over the road truck driver dump some material from an end dump trailer. When they were done, EE tripped on the pile and grabbed the back of the trailer to steady self at the same time the driver latched the tailgate. EE's hand was caught under the tailgate latch crushing a bone in the center of EE's hand.
