He was taken to Smith Northview Hospital to be seen by a doctor as a precaution. He was seen by the doctor and released back to full duty. There was no burns or other visible injuries.
Suction pipe on dredge stopped up at 9:00 a.m. Two miners unbolted suction pipe to remove roots. When bolting suction pipe back on pump, employee stuck his right index finger in the bolt hole to check alignment; pipe shifted and the tip of his finger was cut off. He received 3 stitches and returned to work the same day.
EE WAS WORKING ON DREDGE. WHILE TRYING TO INSERTA PIN HE WAS HOLDING ONTO AN EXCAVATOR BUCKET. HIS RT. FOREARM RUBBED ACROSS EXCAVATOR BUCKET WHICH HAD A STEEL BURR ON IT WHICH CUT HIS RT. FOREARM.
