Showing all 4Employee was pressure washing a drill; he was lifting the engine cover when it slipped out of his hand. Employee's finger was cut on the index finger of the left hand between the first knuckle and finger nail. Employee was taken to emergency room and then sent to a larger facility where a pin was inserted into his finger.
Transferring parts from an old pallet to a new pallet he felt a sharp pain in his back. The employee refused medical attention at the time of injury. However he decided to seek medical attention for this injury at a later date and did not notify his employer until Wednesday August 20th, 2008.
