The employee worked the remainder of shift. On 11/20/2018 the employee's right eye was red and slightly swelled. The employee received medical treatment for the eye injury on 11/20/2018.

Showing all 23The roof bolter operator was loading metal straps onto the roof bolting machine. As the employee was loading the metal straps their hand started to slip and the metal straps shifted or slid and the corner of the metal strap cut the employee on the inside of the right forearm.
Contractor employee was performing service work on a continuous mining machine. The contractor was attempting to unpin the short side of the rub rail to clean the demister on the machine. When the rub rail was unpinned both sides of the rub rail came out at the same time. The contractor put the rub rails back into place and strained his back.
