Showing all 4Released clamps holding hammer assembly on rock drill. Upon releasing the clamp the hammer assembly slid forward pinning miner's hand against the front of the drill.
Employee was in the process of placing a drill steel in the drill mast. EE had one end on the pick-up tail gate and the other end on top of a berm. When employee pulled the steel onto the mast the back end of the steel fell off the tail gate pinching the employee's left hand between the steel and a large rock laying on the the berm.
While trouble shooting an issue with the primary crusher, the employee was rotating the impeller by hand when his glove caught between the impeller and the liner pinching the tip of his right middle finger.
