Employee (Mechanic) got cut on their left middle finger while inspecting the screw conveyor after locking it out. Employee inserted hand through sampling port after removing sampling port cover at the bottom of the screw conveyor to diagnose the issue. EE's finger got cut by screw flight.

Employee and partner were lifting the shroud off the ACM Mill when the chain slipped on the rigging assembly causing the 100-150 lbs. (45-68 Kg) shroud to drop 6" (15 cm) and come down on employee's gloved left hand bruising the little and ring fingers (X-ray confirmed no fracture).
