Showing all 4Operator was entering a skid loader, and when steeping in the cab the operator felt a sharp pain like maybe a torn muscle in his right lower leg. The operator went to the doctor and was told he possibly tore his calf muscle. The operator was allowed to return to work same day, however he is not allowed to put heavy pressure on his right leg for about a week.
Operator was attempting to remove a rock from the feed hopper that was stuck. Operator shut hopper off and then tried to remove it with his bare hands. Operator cut his finger in the process. He bandaged it, then went to the local doctor and received stitches, then returned to work.
MINER WAS GETTING READY TO LUBRICATE A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT. WHEN BENDING OVER TO PICK OF THE GREASE HE WAS STRICKEN WITH SHARP PAIN TO HIS LOWER BACK. HE WAS TAKEN TO DOCTOR & OFF WORK 7 DAYS.
