The loader operator was climbing up the ladder to start the day and EE's hands slipped off the railing and EE fell over back wards and landed on EE's back and head.

Frozen rain from night before created icy conditions outside making everything extremely slippery. Miner was attempting to apply salt to walk ways and fell doing so.

Miner was operating a skid steer loader. Operator was exiting machine too fast, lost grip and balanced and fell back in to seat. The operator was taken to a doctors office. The operator dislocated finger and bruised ribs. To prevent this injury in the future the operator was advised to exit the machine slower and more carefully. Operator can return to work Monday.
