Showing all 8EE told a supervisor he felt a pull in groin. The details didn't appear to be something that could be work related so the supervisor told him he could leave. The ee told the supervisor later that he had pulled something in his groin while moving a screen. Information obtained from the doctor indicates this could be a recordable inj due to conflicting MD information.
Miner was climbing the ladder to his truck and turned to look at another miner. As he turned, he felt a "pinch" in his back. The injury was first reported by the miner as a NON-WORK RELATED INJURY. On 10/12/10, the miner claimed the injury as work related to the Safety Director.
A maintenance employee was working with two pieces of steel when his finger became wedged. The pressure caused his finger to fracture.
Employee was walking beside a handrail and felt a stinging sensation on his finger. He looked at the finger and noticed blood dripping from a finger. He had apparently hit a metal weld burr and cut his finger.
