Showing all 7EE placed his right hand on the tailgate to bend over to see what was keeping the tailgate from closing. At this time, the tailgate closed, smashing his right middle finger causing a laceration that required suturing.
Injured employee was loading galvanised pipe when he cut the palm of his left hand on the sharp edge of the pipe. Employee received 5 sutures.
EE was cleaning his tailgate when he pulled, when he pulled the tailgate out he had to shave it back in place. in doing so he caught his left thumb between the tailgate and the truck.
IN STORING JIB ON MOBILE CRANE, EE ASKED INJURED IF HE WAS READY FOR JIB TO BE STORED, INJURED ANSWERED YES. CRANE OPERATOR SLID JIB BACK, INJURED'S 4TH AND 5TH DIGITS ON LE HAND WERE IN A PIN CH POINT AND SEVERED.
EE WAS INSTALLING FILTER CLOTH AROUND IMPOUNDMENT. HE WAS PULLING ON A ROLL OF CLOTH THAT GOT HUNG UP. HE STRAINED TENDON IN HIS RIGHT WRIST.
INJURED HAS SUFFERED A HERNIA OVER AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME WHILE WORKING AT THE PLANT. THIS INJURY IS A RESULT OF AN OCCUPATIONAL ILLNESS.
