Maintenance Mechanic was working in the Sand drying/screening plant. The mechanic was removing a bearing from a magnetic seperator. While attempting to remove the bearing, by tapping with a hammer, a sliver of metal flew into the his left eye. The employee was treated and released from the local ER and returned to work that afternoon.

Operator came up behind Supervisor who was cutting super sacks with a utility knife. Startled Supervisor, swung around and cut Operator on the buttocks.
