WHILE EE WAS CUTTING CLIP OFF BELT SPLICE TO PULL PIN, THE KNIFE SLIPPED OFF, LACERATING HIS LEFT LEG. EE DID NOT MISS ANY WORK. HOWEVER, HE DID RECEIVE SUTURES, THUS MAKING THIS REPORT A MEDICAL.
EMPLOYEE WAS CUTTING BELT STRINGS OUT OF TAIL ROLLER WITH HOOK KNIFE, SLIPPED AND CUT SIDE OF LEFT THUMB REQUIRING SUTURES.

EMPLOYEE WAS ASSISTING MECHANIC, MECHANIC WAS STRIKING WRENCH WITH SLEDGE HAMMER IN AN ATTEMPT TO LOOSEN BOLTS WHEN THE SLEDGE HAMMER GLANCED OFF WRENCH STRIKING THE EE ABOVE LEFT EYE.
EE WAS PULLING BELT WITH COME A LONGS WHEN WELD BROKE ON TAKE-UP PERMITTING TAKE UP FRAME TO HIT KNEE.
A COWORKER WAS DRIVING A BOLT OUT OF PIPE FLANGE WITH ANOTHER BOLT AND HAMMER. THE INJURED EE TRIED TO CATCH THE BOLT THAT WAS BEING DRIVEN OUT AND AS HE REACHED FOR THE BOLT, THE BOLT POPPED THRU, STRIKING FINGER CAUSING A LACERATION THAT REQUIRED STITCHES.
EE WAS USING THE SCISSOR TOOL TO MAKE A BELT SPLICE. WHILE OPERATING THE TOOL HE EXPERIENCED PAIN IN LOWER NECK/UPPER BACK AREA.
EE WAS CHANGING BITS OUT ON THE MINER WHEN HE FELT WAS SOMETHING BOUNCE OFF HIS HAND. ON 1-25-00 EE REQUESTED AN ACCIDENT REPORT BE MADE OUT. WE WERE ALSO NOTIFIED ON 1-25-00 THAT PIECE OF MET AL WAS FOUND IN FINGER.
