Showing all 7EE was removing teeth to be replaced on WA600 loader unit 216. After removing the pin he was hitting the tooth with a hammer when a piece of the tooth came off and hit him in the left arm, just above the bend below the bicep, embedded below the skin.
Trying to drive a pin out of a loader tooth, the mechanic was hitting a ball pin hammer with a larger hammer. A piece of metal sheared off of one of the hammers and went into the mechanic's upper arm.
