EMPLOYEE WAS BREAKING STONE WITH A HAMMER-FELT SHARP PAIN IN LOWER BACK. THIS IS A REINJURY OF AN OLD INJURY. EMPLOYEE RETURNED TO WORK ON 9-26-83 WITH A SORE BACK. HE HAD BEE N LAID OFF SINC E 7-2-83 BECAUSE THE QUARRY WAS SHUT DOWN DUE TO LACK OF WORK.
