Employee was splitting a slab of sandstone using a 3 lb. hammer and stone chisel. As he struck the chisel head with the hammer a metal fragment broke off the chisel and impaled in his right leg(shin). Metal fragment was removed by a physician.
EE was splitting sandstone using a 4-lb. hammer and stoke chisel when a metal fragment broke off the chisel head and pasted under his safety glass lens striking his left eye. Metal fragment was removed by a physician and prescription medicaiton was given. He was release to full duty.

EE was splitting a slab of sandstone that had a fracture crack in it, which he did not notice. While splitting the stone, it broke in half, the stone fell and struck him on his right ankle. He sustained a lacertion and contusion. EE will be off work until released by physician.
