EE was cleaning the mud off of a conveyor roller. He was using a hand help scraper to do so. His scraper came n contact with the convery belt and the handle of the scraper struck him in his left knee. He did go to the doctor and was placed on light duty.

Showing all 7EE was using a utility knife to cut the locks on a plastic nordbak bucket. While cutting the locks, whe slipped with the knife and cut her right ghigh. She did go to the doctor and received 4 stitches. There were no work restrictions, so she id return to full work duties. She had the stitches removed on 10/15/08.
EE WAS USING A 12# SLEDGE HAMMER AS A BACKING PLATE WHILE ANOTHER EE WAS STRIKING A PIN INTO THE PAN FEEDER DRIVE CHAIN. A SMALL SHARD OF METAL SPLINTERED OFF THE PIN AND STRUCK EE IN THE CHIN REQUIRING STITCHES AND REMOVAL OF THE 1/4" METAL CHIP.
EE WAS RETRACTING A 25 FT. STEEL TAPE AND THE BLADE CUT HIS MIDDLE FINGER OF HIS RT. HAND SMALL LACERATION CAUSED FOUR STITCHES TO BE PUT IN BY DR AT EMERGENCY ROOM.
EMPLOYEE WAS CUTTING A PIECE OF RUBBER BELTING AND THE RAZOR KNIFE SLIPPED AND CUT THE BACK OF HIS LEFT HAND, APPROX 1/4" LONG. 2 STITCHES WERE REQUIRED TO CLOSE WOUND.
EMPLOYEE WAS USING A PORTA POWER RAM TO SPREAD APUMP FROM IT'S BASE. UPON COMPLETION OF THE JOB THE RAM FAILED TO RETRACT FULLY AND MAINTAINED ASMALL AMOUNT OF PRESSURE. THE RAM WAS TAPPED WIT H A HAMMER AND THE RAM SPRUNG FREE, PINCHING THEMECHANIC'S HAND AGAINST THE PUMP BASE.
A MILL MECHANIC WAS USING AN 8# HAMMER TO KNOCK LINERS LOOSE IN THE CRUSHER PAN FEEDER. A PIECE OF THE STEEL LINER CHIPPED OFF & STRUCK HIM ON THE RIGHT CHEEK (RIGHT SIDE OF HIS FACE). FOUR STITCHES WERE REQUIRED TO CLOSE THE LACERATION.
