EE was changing oil for 14G blade (unit 304002). As he reached in to change the filter, his arm was fully extended. When he pulled on the filter wrench, he felt a pull in his upper right arm, the muscle had been pulled. The poor design of this area of the blade is considered to be a major factor in this injury. It is very difficult to change oil filters on this equipment.
Empoyee was servicing mobile equipment, while on his back he was using a ratchet and felt strain in his right shoulder. Employee was seen by his doctor 9/16/08 and placed on modified duty.
Employee was cutting a strap with a utility knife; employee cut the 2nd knuckle of his right thumb with the blade of the utility knife. Employee received 3 stiches.

Employee was removing a cutting edge bolt. He was holding the bolt head with his hand and when the impact wrench turned the nut it spun the bolt in his fingers, cutting his fingers open. Reported due to modified duty and stitches.
WHILE TRYING TO REMOVE ICE FROM THE SNUBBER PULLEY, EMPLOYEE HIT HIS FINGER WITH A HAMMER. HE DID NOT GO TO A DR. FOR TREATMENT UNTIL 7/6/05, WHEN THE FINGERNAIL REQUIRED REMOVAL.

EE WAS OPENING A R.R. HOPPER BOTTOM HATCH WITH A STEEL BAR WHEN HE FELT SOMETHING POP IN HIS LEFT RIBCAGE, AS HE WAS PUTTING DOWNWARD PRESSURE ON THE BAR. THIS FRACTURED A RIB. REPORTING DUE T O FRACTURED RIB & MODIFIED DUTY.
