EMPLOYEE WAS HELPING TO LIFT A 20 FT HEAVY WALL PIPE JOINT. THE OTHER MAN WHO WAS HELPING HIM DROPPED HIS END. EMPLOYEE WAS STILL HOLDING HIS END WITH THE PRY BAR HE HAD PLACED IN THE END THE PIPE. THE IMPACT HURT EMPLOYEE'S BACK. HE COMPLAINED OF PAIN IN HIS LOWER BACK.

EMPLOYEE WAS REMOVING HOSE FROM DOZER. THE WRENCH HE WAS USING SLIPPED LETTING HIM FALL BACKWARDS OFF THE DOZER. HE FELL APPROX. 4 FEET TO THE GROUND LANDING ON HIS BACK. HE COMPLAINED OF SEVE RE PAIN TO HIS BACK. HE HAD MOBILITY AND FEELING IN HIS EXTREMITIES.
