EE WAS PERFORMING THE 30DAY CAGE PM. AFTER CHECKING THE SOUTH CAGE ON TOP, EE COMMUNICATED TO COWORKER THAT HE NEEDED TO TAKE THE CAGE TO 1100 TO PERFORM THE SAFETY CHECKS. AT THE 1100 THE SAF ETY CATCHES WERE CHECKED ON SOUTH CAGE THEN EE CALLED FOR THE N. CAGE, HE COMMUNICATED FROM THEN. CAGE TO GO THE TOP. ENROUTE TO THE TOP THE CAGE HIT ICE. EE FELL AND BROKE HIS LEG.
