Showing all 3The injured miner was using a Caterpillar D-10T2 bulldozer to push material parallel to a bermed bench. While traveling in reverse the dozer drove off the downhill side of the bench and rolled over, ending up on its tracks. The total damage to the D-10 is unknown, but the machine appears to be structurally sound and repairable.
The Miner was using a handheld grinder on steel without safety glasses and a face shield. A steel shaving contacted EE's right eye.
