While performing geotechnical soil borings for new project driller got EE's tip of the left pointer finger smashed. Finger was caught in-between the vice and drill rig while attempting to remove pin to open the vice up to pull augers. Finger needed first aid which was three stiches and driller returned to work after receiving first aid.

EE was using wire wheel to clean one of EE's welds. EE was wearing a long sleeved shirt and a welding jacket. One of the wires stuck into EE's clothing on EE's left forearm. EE accidentally leaned into the wire stuck in EE's clothing, pushing it into EE's left forearm.
