After completing a cut with hydraulic stone splitter employee pushed cut stone thru cutting head to off side conveyor & caught left forearm on sharp edge of stone. Equipment did not directly cause injury. Injury required couple sutures

Showing all 4EE reported that he nailed 2 pieces of wood together w/nail gun. He laid down the gun on his right side & proceeded to pick up a piece of wood when he claims the gun fired. He claims he was not touching the gun & it was 18" away when it misfired & shot him through the top of left hand going completely through but remaining exposed on both sides. Accident under investigation.
