Employee was removing steel liners from hopper. A chipping hammer was used as wedge while cutting and got very hot. After completing removal of liner, he sat the hammer down in front of him and began grinding the old welds. He inadvertently knelt on hot hammer while grinding and jumped releasing hold on grinder. Grinding wheel came in contact with left thumb causing small cut.

Employee was using a metal grinder after welding and grinder debris got into his eye. He was wearing safety glasses.
