While operating the crane, employee noticed once of the chains got fetched and decided to move towards it without stopping the crane. The crane broke free and whiplashed back at employee and striking EE in the upper left forehead leaving a laceration. First aid administered; ambulance called.

Was moving a block under the saw and pushed the wrong button on the overhead crane and pinned hand between the block and the guard on the crane.
