Employee was using cutoff tool on sheet metal project. Work was performed outside with favorable conditions. Cutoff tool was inadvertently powered on while connecting hose to tool, making contact with left thigh causing laceration requiring 5 stitches.

Miner was jacking up a haul truck to make repairs when the hydraulic ram EE was using fell from the jack stand onto EE's left thumb. The thumb received a cut that required stitches.

Employee was using cutting wheel grinder to cut off broken angle iron from conveyor structure. The final cut caused the grinder to catch and caught the employee's gloved left hand, causing a laceration on EE's left ring finger, requiring 6 stitches.

While repairing the daybox on the emulsion truck, employee was under truck with open end wrench on bolt holding tight while fellow employee was on topside using an impact wrench to loosen a bracket. Employee holding wrench lost grip and caught open end of the wrench in palm of right hand causing laceration requiring 5 stitches

While working on bolts holding the TRAMAC Heavy Duty Excavator Style Rock Breaker Boom System (ID# P-152)from Primary Plant Rock Crusher Stationary Universal 5050 Jaw Crusher (ID# P-150) the unit P-152 was being held by Tadano TR400E Crane (UD# S-014) the load shifted pinning EE's right thumb between the railing and Chicago Pneumatic Air Wrench smashing the right thumb.

While working with a air powered hand drill, the employee dropped the drill and in an attempt to catch it a piece of metal entered his left hand palm, causing a pencil sized laceration that required medical attention to release pressure from infection that developed.

While cutting and grinding plates for a grizzly a metal flake became airborne and enter the left eye of our employee, requiring medical treatment to remove. The injury left no perminent impairment to the eye and employee returned to work after one days absence.

While performing maintenance work on a Euclid R-50, prior to Quarry startup, Company ID #H-09, the employee was using a grinder to prep metal for welding of a crack in the body of the above mentioned Euclid R-50, when a metal flake entered his left eye (cornea).

While doing maintenance on Dryer Plant auger was using an air hose to clear the auger shaft of material. Blowback from the auger caused material to be blown into the eyes of the employee. The primary injury was to the Right Eye, caustic material in the dust caused eye irratation. Safety glasses were being worn at the time of the injury.
