Showing all 5Employee was using a hand grinder with a cutoff wheel to remove a seized up bolt. The grinder grabbed and threw itself into his leg, causing a cut to left knee.
The outside contractor was onsite working on the rock drill. A piece of drill steel started to fall out of the carousel. The contractor grabbed it to push it back in place as the operator engaged the grabbers. The carousel turned pinching the contractors little finger.
Employee was operating the dozer (D8N cat), pushing out a shot that could not be dug out, and his neck started to hurt.
