Miner was working to repair a crusher using parts cleaner. Parts cleaner and oil from the crusher got onto EE's pants. When EE used a grinder to cut steel sleeve, sparks ignited EE's pants and EE's knees and calves were burned.

Miner was operating a backhoe equipped with a rock hammer. After several hours of operation, ee began to feel numbness in right arm and right hand.

Worker was removing nuts using and air impact wrench and his right wrist became sore. He did not report the injury to management until 05/26/2009. Went to a clinic and was placed on restricted duty. No lost time.

Worker was repairing a air-powerd greaser; the piston became stuck. When he tried to free the piston the fingers of his left hand became trapped by the piston causing a laceration to the middle finger of his left hand requiring stitches to close the wound.

EE STARTED THE AIR COMPRESSOR AND A PARTICLE CAME OFF THE EXHAUST AND FLEW IN HIS RIGHT EYE. THE CENTER OF HIS RIGHT EYE WAS SCRATCHED BY THIS MATTER.

EE WAS GRINDING IN A REAL TIGHT SPOT AND THE GRINDER (9" HAND HELD GRINDER) KICKED BACK AND HIT MY LEFT KNEE. SOME SWELLING AND HURTS WHEN HE BENDS THE KNEE BUT IF HE STANDS UP STRAIGHT DOES N OT HURT.
