A MINER WITH 1 MONTH EXPERIENCE WAS DRILLING THE FIRST HOLE ON THE MINE ROOF FROM A NORMAL OPERATING POSITION. HIS RIGHT HAND WAS A THE CONTROL. WHEN A SIMPLE CHIP OF ROOF ROCK FROM THE HOLE F ELL AND STRUCK HIS RIGHT PUNKIE FINGER FRACTURING IT. HE WAS X RAYED AND SPHUTED AND RETURNED TO WORK.
