Employee reported he was standing at the fuel island waiting for the truck tank to fill. He stated he shifted his body weight from his right leg to his left leg and at that time his left knee give out.

Employee was squatted down for about 30 minutes installing a hydraulic hose on a loader. When he attempted to stand up he was unable to straighten his left knee or put any weight on his leg.

Working in Coarse Ore Bin, stepped down & felt left hip "pop". At this time employee did not want/seek medical attention. Employee later stated hip bothering him, saw MD on 16 Nov 09 & released to full duty. To see physical therapist for evaluation at later date.
