Showing all 4EE was putting a boom/stick pin in the long reach trackhoe. EE bent over to line up the hole and when EE raised back up, EE felt something "snap" in the lower part of EE's back. Ended up just being spasms resulting in restricted duty causing the incident to be reportable.
EE reported for work, clocked in and was in breakroom. EE was putting work boots on and felt a pain in back and had to leave to go to the doctor. The EE missed the next day, making the incident reportable, but there was no accident involved in this incident. The EE came back the 2nd day with no issues.
Metal flakes from grinding got on the EEs clothes. Later the EE was dumping a load in the hopper with a haul truck with the window down and the wind blew the metal flakes into his left eye. Went to doctor after work, when it began to bother him, and the doctor remove the metal flakes.
