Showing all 3The articulated haul truck the miner was operating lost power traveling up a ramp. The truck rolled backward and was stopped by a topsoil pile. The abrupt stop jarred the miner's right arm causing a contusion. The contusion caused be a possible muscle tear or vessel tear.
Miner was attaching bucket on skid steer loader. While bucket was raised, miner was hammering in pivot pins. His foot was below the raised bucket while hammering. The bucket slipped out of the attachment point and fell on his left foot. A contusion of the left foot occurred.
