Subject struck an I-beam on the hopper with right thigh causing a laceration. Subject then drove to the ER where EE received 8 stitches. Subject plans on returning to work the next day.
EMPLOYEE WAS STANDING ON FRAME OF SCREEN TRYING TO UNDO A SHACKLE & CABLE THAT HAD BEEN USED TO LIFT THE FRAME TO ALLOW A TRUCK TO BACK UNDER THE SCREEN. NEEDING A WRENCH, HE PLACED HIS HAND ON THE FRAME OF THE SCREEN & JUMPED TO THE GROUND APPROX. 5'.
