Miner was laying down changing a plate on the bottom of the screens on our plant. It is a very awkward position to change them and EE twisted wrong, causing pain in EE's back.

Showing all 8We were not notified of the injury until 07.22.2024. Miner was lifting a hammer out of our VSI when miner's foot slipped, and miner then pushed up to keep the hammer from falling, causing a sprain/strain to miner's right shoulder rotator cuff capsule.
Our employee was exiting a loader that they were cleaning and when exiting down the ladder, they missed the last step and fell onto their left ankle/foot, twisting it.
Miner was cleaning off a truck and there was a patch of snow on the ground near them. They slipped, but did not fall. When they went to catch themselves, they pulled a muscle in lower back.
EE was getting out of EE's 982 to use the restroom and stretch. While EE was stretching EE got light headed and fell approximately 6-7 feet off the loader cat walk to the ground below.
