Showing all 8Employee was preparing to get up on a loading machine. As he started to put his foot on the first step, he somehow missed the step which must have thrown him off balance. When his foot came down on the ground, the strain apparently caused a hernia in his groin area.
EE alleges that he tripped and fell while walking across the quarry. Nobody witnessed the alleged fall. EE has tried unsuccessfully (to date) to have a prior injury to the same shoulder covered under workers compensation.
