Stepping down of the screen deck to the catwalk, he felt left ankle give out
Stepping down off step-ladder onto ground and fell down and twisted (sprain) left knee, no lost work time as of today (03-27-2013)
Miner was exiting the D7 Dozer he was operating, from the leftside of equipment. The Miner proceeded to step down from Dozer, when his left knee twisted. On 01/29/08, EE injured his left knee, but EE did not request any time off. At this time no lost time injury was reported, but on 2/19/08 at the request of his doctor, EE did not report to work.
EMPLOYEE WAS ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE A RUSTED NUT FROM A BOLT WITH A RACHET & SOCKET, WHEN THE SOCKET SLIPPED OFF CAUSING HIM TO FALL BACK. WHEN FALLING BACK, HE PLANTED HIS LEFT FOOT TO AVOID FALLING ON LOOSE DIRT & GRAVEL CAUSING HIM TO TWIST HIS ANKLE & BREAKING HIS ANKLE.
