Showing all 5IEE was exiting the crusher/hopper. He fell 11.5 feet to the ground on his right side. Co-workers called 911 and 25 minutes later he was gernied by the EMTs then the helicopter showed up and was mediflighted to Amarillo hospital.
Employee was loading prills on the blasting truck. A bag shifted under his foot. He realized he was going to fall so he jumped from the truck bed to the ground. He hurt his right knee. Did not want to go to the doctor and keep on working. The next morning his knee was swollen but he still would not go the the doctor. He said it was all right.
Employee jumped off tail pulley about 2 1/2 feet to the ground and sprained right ankle.
THE GROUND WAS MUDDY. EE STEPPED OFF THE LOADER AND TWISTED HIS KNEE.
