He was walking down steps from control room, halfway down his left foot slipped. He went down and hit his left hip and his leg went under him. He was holding on to the hand rail with his right hand and slipped down about 3 steps.

He claimed that he got finished cutting the place he was in and got up to tram the continuous miner, then his knee popped. During the time his knee popped he stumbled then twisted his lower back. This we believe should be a medical issue from a previous old injury and should not be a MSHA reportable injury.

He was making repairs to an excavator and was stepping onto the upper portion of an excavator. He lost his footing and fell off of the machine.

Employee was dismounting the D9R #2 Dozer with an oil sample bottle in his hand, when his foot slipped, causing him to strike the blade push bar with his left rib cage.

Helping the mechanic work on push out lever on a Ram car, while prying down on the arm, he lost his balance and fell into the Ball hitch on a 4 wheeler buggy striking his right knee and the right side of his back on the hitch. He started missing work 2/19/09 and missed 2/20/09 and reported back to work 2/21/09.

Injured was helping install a French drain through old dam in King Branch; upon exiting the area he stepped on a rock. The rock twisted from beneath his foot resulting in a fall injuring his left leg. First aid was administered by two M.E.T.s.

Employee was pulling on a piece of conveyor belt loading it to take underground when he slipped and fell. As he fell he twisted his right leg resulting in a fracture to his lower leg.
