Showing all 3Miner was operating a skid steer loader. Operator was exiting machine too fast, lost grip and balanced and fell back in to seat. The operator was taken to a doctors office. The operator dislocated finger and bruised ribs. To prevent this injury in the future the operator was advised to exit the machine slower and more carefully. Operator can return to work Monday.
Operator observed a large stone stuck in oversize discharge bars of the vibrating feed hopper. Operator shut down the hopper & climbed up on to the discharge of oversize stone plate. Operator tried to break free the large stone by prying on rock with pry bar, lost balance and fell on rock pile.
