While walking across the cat walk of a 777 the miner slipped and fell to the ground approximately twelve feet landing on his right side. The result was 4 broken ribs and a bruised lung.
Miner tripped over tounge of brush hog, causing him to fall forward catching himself with his arms, he wrenched/landed wrong on his right shoulder.
While trying to keep the fuel pump motor running, employee had to climb onto Fuel Truck to start. Employee slipped and fell off back of Fuel Truck onto his right side. There was a significant sleet accumulation and freezing rain during this shift. Employee was seriously injured. Fractured Collarbone, sternum, 1 fractured rib, 2 fractured back vertebra.
Injured worker was walking from Main office to Training Trailer, slipped on snow covered ice, and fell hard to concrete with bodyweight landing on right leg and foot.
Checking water pump, slipped on snow covered rock and fell hurting left ankle.
After fueling Cat 345 Hoe (excavator) miner trying to dismount machine, his foot slipped off due to ice & snow on machine, and other foot slipped on frozen ground, landing miner on his back. The miner states it hurt his lower neck and lower back. Miner continued working until end of shift on 1/2/08.
Employee stepping off the auger to hook flite, and turn off conveyor, stepped on ground 1' to 1 1/2' below, twisted right ankle. Ordinary operating conditions/no abnormalities noted.
ee was getting down off loader, his foot slipped on top platform which he had only his left hand on handrail.Couldn't get right hand on guard rail in time. The fall while holding onto the handrail with one hand caused him to swing into platform hitting rib cage against platform. He then lost grip and fell to the ground.

IT WAS RAINING AND HE WAS GETTING INTO A 1989 MACK TRUCK/TRACTOR WHEN HE LOST HIS FOOTING AND FELL TO THE GROUND AND LANDED ON HIS RIGHT WRIST.

Employee had just finished fueling up equipment and while getting down from the fuel tank he slipped and hit his knee on the top step. The area was muddy where he was working.
Employee was fueling his dozer and while he was on the catwalk getting out of the cab he slippped and landed against the door frame hitting his right shoulder. It was early in the morning. The catwalk was damp and it was dark out.
He was repairing the exhaust on the michigan loader. he was standing on the right rear tire and bent over to see if the other was handing him the new exhause pipe, slipped and fell to the ground.

EMPLOYEE WAS CLEANING OUT THE BED OF THE TRUCK AND WE ATTEMPTED TO GET OUT OF THE TRUCK, HE SLIPPED AND HIS LEFT HAND WENT ONTO A BOLT WHICH WASHOLDING A VICE ONTO THE TRUCK BUMPER CAUSING A CONTUSION WHICH REQUIRED SUTURES.
EMPLOYEE WAS GETTING OUT OF THE BACK OF THE PIT TRUCK AND SLIPPED AND FELL. HE PUT HIS RIGHT HAND DOWN TO CATCH HIMSELF FROM HITTING THE GROUND AND FRACTURED HIS RIGHT WRIST.
EE WAS WORKING ON PIT TRUCK REPAIRING FUEL FILTER WHEN HE SLIPPED OFF THE FRONT OF THE TRUCK ANDLANDED ON HIS RT. FOOT WRONG, CAUSING A SPRAIN TO THE RT. ANKLE.
OPERATOR WAS DISMOUNTING HIS MACHINE TO CHECK ON A 6" WATER PUMP AND SLIPPED OFF THE MUDDY TRACK HITTING HIS STOMACH ON THE TRACK WHEN HE FELL.
EE WAS STEPPING ON CAT WALK TO HAND ANOTHER EE AFUNNEL TO SERVICE THE EQUIPMENT WITH WHEN HE LOST HIS BALANCE & FELL TO THE GROUND LANDING ON HIS RIGHT HIP & FRACTURING IT.
EMPLOYEE WAS STEPPING UP ON THE CARRIAGE WHEN HEJAMMED HIS HEAD INTO THE ROCK GUARD; THIS JAMMEDHIS HEAD INTO HIS NECK AND SPINE. HE WORKED THEREST OF THE DAY AND WENT TO THE DOCTOR THE NEXT DAY.
