Miner was going up a step ladder and the bottom slid out causing him to fall approximately 4 feet. He initially was alright but then felt a sharp pain after about an hour.

EMPLOYEE, AN OVER THE ROAD TRUCK DRIVER, WHOM WAS NEITHER EMPLOYED NOR CONTRACTED BY CARBON SALES INC, WAS STEPPING ONTO HIS TRAILER FROM THE TRACTOR AND SLIPPED FALLING APPROX 5' TO THE GROUN D BREAKING HIS RIGHT COLLARBONE. CARBON SALES EMPLOYEES CALLED FOR AN AMBULANCE AND THE INDIVIDUAL WAS TRANSPORTED TO GEISINGER HOSPITAL, WILKES-BARRE.
