The employee stated that he was walking by the power center and tripped over the continuous miner cable. As the employee fell, he stuck his hands out to try and brace his fall. However, his left hand struck a metal ear on the outer edge of the platform, puncturing employee's left hand, resulting in three sutures.

EE stated he was walking by the scoop and stepped in a hole causing him to twist his right ankle. EE finished his shift on 1/28/13 and reported for work on 1/29/13 but was unable to work the full shift. EE sought medical treatment and was placed off work for a strained knee.

The EE stated he was walking along #2 East Belt when he slipped in a hole of water and strained his left knee. EE started missing on 1/30/13 and RTW 2/1/13.

VICTIM WAS GETTING OUT OF UNITRACK SCOOP WHEN HIS FOOT SLIPPED CAUSING HIM TO STRIKE HIS ARM AGAINST THE FRAME OF THE MACHINE.

VICTIM WAS STANDING BETWEEN ROOF BOLTER AND ROOFBOLTER CABLE AND WHEN THE CABLE REEL WAS ENGAGED THE CABLE JERKED AND KNOCKED HIM INTO THE FRAMEOF THE MACHINE.

INJURED WORKER WAS STANDING ON TOP OF THE ROOF BOLTING MACHINE ATTEMPTING TO GET DRILL STEM OUT OF THE MINE ROOF WHEN HE LOST HIS FOOTING AND FOOT WAS CAUGHT BETWEEN THE DRILL BOOM AND THE FRA ME OF THE MACHINE.
