While using a table saw to cut 4" x 4" blocks of wood, the wood kicked back. The block hit his left thumb, pushing back. The thumb was broken, requiring surgury to repair. Security(contractor) was assigned the duties of safety and reporting. A safety audit identified this accident as not being filed at the proper time.
